Income Report

February highlights:

  • Total revenue was $7,757.18
  • Net income was $4,844.98

Water Report: Dylan noted that the water system will have more comprehensive water tests this year with an expected lab expense of $2750.  Also the EPA is mandating two PFAS tests which will conducted in June and December and require an out-of-area lab.  Each test will cost $250.  PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of synthetic chemicals characterized by multiple fluorine atoms attached to an alkyl chain. They are often referred to as "forever chemicals" due to their persistence in the environment and potential health risks.  More details are available here: EPA explanation of PFAS.

The board decided to purchase a backup pump for pump house number 1 (near Junco Lane).   The quoted price was $5,055.

Dylan attempted to start the backup well this week and the control screen was not coming up.  Dylan will investigate further and effect repairs.
