Report: Dylan
noted that the water system will have more comprehensive water tests this year
with an expected lab expense of $2750.
Also the EPA is mandating two PFAS tests which will conducted
in June and December and require an out-of-area lab. Each test will cost $250. PFAS stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl
substances (PFAS) are a group of synthetic chemicals characterized by multiple
fluorine atoms attached to an alkyl chain. They are often referred to as
"forever chemicals" due to their persistence in the environment and
potential health risks. More details are

The
board decided to purchase a backup pump for pump house number 1 (near
Dylan
attempted to start the backup well this week and the control screen was not
coming up. Dylan will investigate
further and effect repairs.
